DC has a ton of toastmaster clubs. Anyone here a member

of one they can recommend?

 Oh boy a question that I can actually answer. I tried out a lot of
different clubs when I was starting out a few years ago. Most of them
are decent, but there were only two that stood out as being really
weird/uncomfortable. One was at a Bank of America office downtown
where the people were extremely cold and closed off, even by DC
standards. The other was in Dupont Circle and was basically a fancy
lunch club in a private townhome for retired rich people. Visit a couple
of clubs to figure out what you want to get out of Toastmasters, you’ll
know when you’ve met the right club when the vibe feels right.
