Project Description: Lowes is a leading Furniture company in the USA and Canada. Lowes current
finance system works on PeopleSoft 8.4 and people tools 8.49. The project’s scope is to upgrade the
application version to PeopleSoft 9.1 as well as people tools version to 8.50. Currently we are analyzing
the present system and will provide a roadmap for the upgrade to the new version of PeopleSoft. The
upgrade will happen for all six finance modules along with a couple of new module implementation.

Contribution:

• Worked on the analysis of current Lowes PeopleSoft Finance Application 8.4

• Worked on the new features available in People tools 8.50.
• Worked one PeopleSoft upgrade process.

Project Description: Hudson is one of the major Staff Management Company in Australia and New
Zealand. The project had customization of existing components, Interfaces development and Report
generation for almost all the HRMS modules (Global Payroll, HR, Time and Labor and Absence).

Contribution:

• Worked on the Requirement Document specification for GP reports track.

• Designed and developed technical design documents as per functional requirements. Worked
extensively on SQR and Application Engine and XML Publisher.
• Developed many complex Interfaces and Reports e.g. Detailed Payroll Report, GL-PC interfaces.
• Have a clear concept of running a payroll, creation of calendar group, calendars, element group,
run type and other entities of payroll.
• Have worked on FTP for sending output files.
• Developed PS-Queries using APP Designer as per the requirements and was able to send the
outputs of the queries through Email notifications to the concerned team.

Project Description: Charles Schwab is one of the leading investment bank and financial Service
provider in US. This project involved in implementation of Project Costing module and integration with
General Ledger. We had a lot customization on Project Costing.

Contribution:

• Designed and developed technical design documents as per functional requirements.

• Worked extensively on People code, SQR and Application Engine.
• Developed and customized new Components using App Designer and people code in Project
Costing.
• Customizing existing Fields, Records, Pages and Components as per the requirement using
Application Designer.

Tools Developed

SQR Generator: SQR generator is a tool which automates the process of writing the major part of a
SQR. It is just like a component in PeopleSoft, where we can create procedures and SQLs (just like PS
query) from the PIA. It generates a SQR file with the created procedures and SQLs along with proper
indentation, mandatory SQCs and comments.
