musicians. We take great pride in coaching our students through their
musical journey.

This handbook is designed to teach you everything you need to know to


ensure your success with the position.

- What is it? TeacherZone.com is our educational platform with a


unique log-in for every instructor and student. This is where instructors
can do things such as track monthly progress, assign practices and track
how much practice has taken place. Video on Overview of TeacherZone.

- Video’s of Monthly Progress (mandatory for every student): Take


short video’s monthly of their student’s progress. Video on Progress here.

- Assign Practice for Student: Instructors can assign their student


practice and choose from three types of videos: our books, Youtube, or
build one on the fly. Video on Assigning Practice to Students. Video on As-

- Students Practice Timer: Students should use the practice timer


every time they practice. This allows the instructor to give feedback on

- Instructor Upload Content. Instructors can upload their own vid-


eos. They can this “on-the-fly” or create an actual course. Video on Instructor

Process of Receiving a New Client
1.) Instructor Receives Text message with client info
including where/when lessons would be
2.) Instructors chooses to take client or not
3.) If after the 1st lessons, either the client or instructor
does not wish to continue, no money is exchanged hands.
Client is not charged and instructor is not paid
Client No-Shows Lesson —Company Policy
1.) Instructor waits for half of total appointment time
2.) Instructor logs sessions in notes state: Client No-Show
3.) Instructor Sends Text to Office about situation
4.) Instructor still gets paid for lesson as long as above 3
conditions are met and it is not an error on instructors part
Reschedules — Company Policy
1.) Client must give 24 hour notice regarding cancelling an
appointment. They then have 4 weeks to make it up.
2.) Instructor DOES not log the session if it has been
rescheduled
3.) If rescheduled appointment is within the same month:
For example: April 4th lesson was rescheduled for April 27th
Process: After April 27th appointment instructor simply logs session
from April 4th and state in notes: “Lesson rescheduled for April
27th”. This is not done until after lesson is completed.
4.) If rescheduled appointment is not in same month
For example: April 4th lesson was rescheduled for May 2nd
Process: Instructor does not log April 4th Session. Instructor
text messages the office about reschedule. Office will add
appointment to instructor’s calendar for May 2nd.

Getting Paid
Logging a Session—Video Logging A Session
Payday — Twice a Month of 22nd and 7th musicians are paid
1.) Payment on 22nd is all lessons up to 15th of the month
2.) Payment on 7th is all lessons up to end of month
Payment Method
1.) All Payments made through Chase QuickPay—Zelle.
2.) Very easy, instructors receives an email with payment

3.) Click link, hook up personal bank account and money
is wired over
4.) Note: wait to receive 1st paycheck email until linking
bank account
