Instructions Applying your design -Etract the folders ftom the 2ip toa location you can easily remember. Inthe layers pane! find the smart object layer named “Your design’ and double click the thumbnail (see image 1 ) mace 1 DOUBLE CLICK - Your smart object layer will now be opened and you can place your design here. ‘You can just drag and drop your design from any folder directly in your newly opened ‘Smart object layer or you can copy and paste from anther photoshop project. - Now sae the objec ayer and return to you shorts template and you wil see your design placed on the shorts with all shadows automatically applied, Thats it - Every part ofthe shirt has i's own folder which you can cleary seein the layers panel. the are named colar, eft shoulder, right shoulder lef side and right sie. Every shir part also has is own object layer You can apply diferent designs to each shirt part by opening these folders ‘and find the object ayer named "your design” inside that folderand then just use the aforementioned steps. Ts ifyou dont want to use diferent color forthe ferent shit parts you can disable speci pats by clicking the eye ion in roto each folder. ‘You can then place your design inthe object layer of the shit font ayer, and you design wil show all ver the shirt. Ir however you want to use an allover pint but ais woud Ike to Use cferent shirt par colors, just place your design inthe shir front color object layer and ais place the same design in all the oer object layers where you want the design to show. To erate an alover print effect itis crucial to place the design atthe exact same pace in each obec ayer. The easiest way sto poston your design nthe front shit object ayer then copy the whole layer (erie o eit cropdown menu copy) and then paste tin the ater objec layers uding he paste in place funcion (sehitet+s) or edt dropdown menu > paste special > paste in pace ‘You can add unlimited designs to every smart object, every smart object by default has 3 layers where you can put a design in you could place all design in the same layer butt is beler fo use seperate layers for each design so you can move and edt them independent. you want to use more than 3 layers for a particular smart object just click new > layer from the layer dropdavn menu, it you cannot edit you design i the smart object it means your design probably needs o be rasterized. to de this simply click the speci layer that holds your design in the smart object and cick raterize layer. Changing Colors: = I'you would like to change the base colo ofthe shorts simply click the thumbnail inthe layer named ‘Cole Fil (again see image 1) You can then choose a coor. In the same way you can also change the color of the collar, the sides andthe shoulders. n the layer panels everthing is clearly ordered and each shiripart has its ‘own folder. i, for example, you want to change the colar o the cola. Simply tind the flder named eft colar in the ayers panel, Open the folder by clicking the small triangle infront of the map icon and you wl se al layers inside the folder. ‘Again Find the layer named Color fil and adjust the color lin the same way as you dd with the base color. Applying the displacement maps (optional) = After applying your design you have the option of applying a displacement map which wraps your 4esign around wrinkles. As mentioned at the start ofthese insttuetions each front and back folder has '8 displacement psd inside, Applying these maps is done in a matte of seconds} = In your layer pane! find the word “displacement” (every shirt part folder has one) and double click it (See image 3) -In the pop-up sereen that youl see next cick ok and youl then be asked to select your displacement map. Select the “sisplacement.psd if you are woxking on a front design or select the “cisplacementback psd” you are working on a back design.
