Dear Parents,

Greetings of Joy and Success!

On behalf of Maria Regina Grade School Department, we are pleased to welcome you to the academic
year of 2018-2019. We are looking forward to a productive partnership with you to ensure our children
can reach their highest potential. We believe that in order to be academically successful, our children
need support from both their family and school. We know a strong partnership with you will make a
great difference in your child’s education. As partners, we share the responsibility for our children’s
success, assuring that we will do our very best to carry out our responsibilities.

As this academic year commences, may we remind you of the following:

1. The official school time is 7:15 AM. All students MUST be at school before 7:15 AM.
Kindly be of the following time table:

 Grades 1- 6 at the OLD CANTEEN (Old Building)

3. Fetching or Pick-Up Areas for Dismissal

 Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3 - New Lobby Area (New Building)
 Grade 4, Grade 5, Grade 6 - Old Canteen Area (Old Building)

Class Advisers will lead the students to their respective pick-up areas and only stay with them
for 15 minutes. Please pick up your child promptly. If you are not able to do so, please inform
the Class Adviser beforehand.

4. Students’ school attires for Mondays to Fridays are:

National uniform for SD, necktie, black
Mondays belt, school socks, and black shoes.
Checkered uniform, black belt, school
Tuesdays socks, and black shoes.
Sailor uniform, black belt, school socks,
Wednesdays and black shoes.

 Sleeved Batik polo/shirt, any kind of

Grade 1: Casual decent shirt with sleeves,
pants/jeans, shoes of any color and school

Sleeved Batik blouse and any kind of pants
OR batik dress (knee length), shoes of any
color and school socks.
Grade 1: Casual decent shirt/blouse with
sleeves, pants/jeans or skirt(knee length),
shoes of any color and school socks.

Grade 2 – Grade 6 : Pramuka uniform Grade 2 – Grade 6 : Pramuka uniform

Please be informed that:

- Students must wear school socks Mondays to Fridays
- Students whose uniforms are not yet ready must wear:

Students are discouraged from wearing excessive and/or expensive accessories and/or jewelry.

5. The indoor playground(inside a room) is off-limits to all Grade School students. It is solely
reserved for Kindergarten students. Only students in the Lower Grade (Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3)
may have access to the outdoor playground( near the new canteen).

6. Parents are not allowed to enter the classrooms. While waiting for your children, kindly remain in
the school canteen or in the New Lobby (New Building).

7. You will be informed about miscellaneous matters such as class sections, Class Advisers, Subject
Teachers and school activities through the Parents-School WA Group administered by our
respective Class Advisers (CA-Wali Kelas).

8. The ECA form has been released. Each student must join at least ONE(excluding Pramuka),
maximum THREE. Please return the reply slip by Friday, 19th July 2018.
