This picture was taken last week when I was walking at the side of the
road near in the Cultural Center of the Philippines. It is kind of disappointing
because on how beautiful the environment is and how commercialized the
surrounding there is something wrong, who I got attention. There is a plastic bag
of garbage located at the beautiful grasses. I feel so sad because on who throw
this kind of garbage in behalf of how beautiful the place is. I realized that as our
world developing there is an additional garbage, trashes and dirt that affects our
environment and the people are not disciplined well to manage their trashes. The
picture shows that no matter how developed our world is, there’s also
consequences in destroying our environment.
I viewed the world today as a developing in terms of infrastructure,
education, technology, transportation, fashion, etc. but the people don't have
enough attention how our environment is currently destroying by our actions. The
buildings are good, high and commercialized. There are also different kinds of
transportation as of now like cars, busses and motorcycles. But how was our
environment? Was it preserved? In my own perspective, our technology is
developing, our kinds of transportation was modernized and our infrastructures
were modernized but the people as today do not have enough attention to our
mother earth. There is also increasing major numbers of trashes and garbage in
our world that really affects our nature. This world right now is modernized but we
forsake our environment. Unlikely the world before have not developed well but it
has clean surroundings and the nature is still nourished.
