Start the class by having a game called “4 Pics 1 Topic”. Let the students to
answer, after answering, ask one or two students about what do they think is your topic
based on the answers on the game.

A. Multiplying monomial to monomial.
Example 1: (4𝑥 2 )(−3𝑥 5 )
Solution: (4)(−3) = −12
(𝑥 2 )(𝑥 5 ) = 𝑥 7
Answer: -12x7
Example 2: (−6𝑎3 𝑏)(4𝑎2 𝑏 −2 )
Solution: (−6)(4) = −24
(𝑎3 )(𝑎2 ) = 𝑎5
