Before School Coding Club

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Your child, _______________________, has the exciting opportunity to come before school on
Tuesdays for 6 weeks (9/24, 10/1, 10/8, 10/15, 10/22, and 10/29) from 7:15 – 8: 15 am. No
transportation will be provided so parents are responsible for dropping their child off or arranging
transportation. The purpose of this before school activity for your child is to learn some skills of basic block
coding, develop teamwork skills, build relationships with other students, and learn skills to transfer to a
multitude of career opportunities in the future. If you choose to allow your child to come before school on
these days you will need to complete and return the bottom of the form to their homeroom teacher by 9/17.

By signing this form you give your child permission to come before school with Ms. Stewart, Mrs. Peoples and
Mr. Diaz to learn basic coding skills, teamwork, and real world skills on Tuesdays for 6 weeks (9/24, 10/1,
10/8, 10/15, 10/22, and 10/29) from 7:15 – 8: 15 am. You agree to arrange transportation for your child
so they are dropped off at the cafeteria doors at 7:15am on these days. Katy ISD and Golbow are not
responsible for any injuries that may occur at these times.
