Interviewer: Researchers/Students

Interviewee: Noreen Pasalan Sales Executive

Interview Setting:
The Interview was conducted at the office of Lorien Travel and Tours Sales Executive room. The interview was

conducted at 2:30 pm on Wednesday afternoon.

Affiliation with Interviewer: One of our researches was an acquaintance of the Ms. Noreen
Pasalan. In which she was once a client the Interviewer’s parents (Mother).

(Start of Interview)

Interviewer: Good afternoon Ms. Noreen Pasalan.


We will start the interview by asking for some information in regards of the company background. Who is the ow
ner of the company?

Ms. Noreen Pasalan: Miss Norma Mongcabong the owner of lorien agency.

Interviewer: When was the Lorien Travel and Tours made?

Ms. Noreen Pasalan: it was on August 15,2015 and approved by DTI.

Interviewer: How many employees are currently working in the company?

Ms. Noreen Pasalan: Including Ms.Norma there are 5 employees.

Interviewer: What services does the company provide?

Ms. Noreen Pasalan: The Company provides the following services.


Tour Bookings, International and Domestic flights, Passport appointments, Hotel Reservations,
VISA Assistant dubai.

Interviewer: Thank you for the information about your services offer but, Im sorry Ms. Pasalan my group can’t
provide thus all services, my group can just focus on one service because of we just have 2 months to build the
website and we are focusing on one service and that is online booking.

Interviewer: So mam, about the business process how does the company create tour package?

Ms. Noreen Pasalan: The company doesn’t do anything with the tour packages.
The company receives its tour packages from operators in which information about the tours are complete from the
slots of the flight, hotel booked, Time of flight, flight number, flight date and time, pickup point and call time for
the clients in which the company will pick up. After we get the tour package, we endorse the travel packages to our
clients through social media, calls, and brochures.

Interviewer: Does the brochure have all the information the client needs IE: flight number? Itinerary etc.

Ms. Noreen Pasalan: Yes it does. From flight day to the day to day activity.
Interviewer: How does the customer pay for the following services?

Ms. Noreen Pasalan: Bank Deposits through Banko Central, Cebuana, Bayad Centers.

Interviewer: How about when they cancel the booked flight/slot? Do they get refunds?

Ms. Noreen Pasalan: That depends on the airline company and the hotel that the travel package.
for example. If the client was booked with Cebu pacific. The tour is automatically non-refundable.

Interviewer: We will now ask on how the company gets its information with their customers. How do you store
the information given by the customers?

Ms. Noreen Pasalan: We use Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Filing Cabinets/Folders and printouts

Interviewer: Does the company do both domestic and international flights? What are the requirements that the
customers need to provide in order to acquire your services?

Ms. Noreen Pasalan:


Yes. For domestic flights we need their birthdate and a valid ID. For international flights we need
their OEC and a copy of their passport, for balik manggagawa We need their visas and Re-Entry copy.

Interviewer: Ms, Pasalan the lorien has own references number?

Ms. Noreen Pasalan: if you said references for airlines, No the airlines has already references number to we just
copy and forward what we sold for the tour

Interviewer: That will be all our questions. Thank you for accommodating us today and for the help you have
