4. Procedures
4.1 Introductory Activity (_3__ The teacher will have a recap of the past lessons.

4.2 Activity (_7_ minutes). . The students will be directed to sketch or draw based on the instructions given by
the teacher. After which, the teacher will check whether the instructions given were
followed as ordered.

4.3 Analysis (_10_ minutes). 1. Why do you think there is miscommunication?

3. How can we achieve effective communication?

4.4 Abstraction (_15_ minutes). The teacher discusses the different barriers in communication like the emotional
barriers, noisy environment,jargon and lack of confidence of the speaker.

4.5 Application(_10_ minutes). The teacher will elicit from the students some situations exemplifying breakdown in
communication as well as the solutions to avoid breakdown thereby achieve effective
communicationl .

4.6 Assessment(_15_ minutes).


The teacher will group the students into four groups. The teacher will give a situation wherein communication situation is
affected by the noise,use of jargon, and mood of the speakersEach group will be tasked to evaluate each given situation
by the teacher and let them look for ways in order to avoid certain breakdown in communication.
4.7 Assignment (__ minutes).

4.8 Concluding Activity (__5__ minutes).


The teacher will provide more tips in delivering a speech.
