TYPES OF CUSTOMERS BASED ON PAYMENT TERMS:-

1. PAID:-
Freight payment should be collected at the time of booking and payment received from
booking party. ( Cash on carry)

2. TBB ( To be billed)
Freight payment received from the SHIPPER after the delivery of shipment based on credit
period.

3. FOD ( Freight on Delivery)

Shipment delivered after receiving the freight payment from the CONSIGNEE.

4. BOD (Bill on delivery)

Freight payment received from the SHIPPER after submitting the delivery bills with
aknowldgement to the shipper.

PRIMARY DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR SHIPMENT:-

➢ Packing list.
➢ Commercial Invoice.
➢ E-way bill.
➢ Shipper and consignee adress details with contact no.

DOCKET:-
Docket is the primary evidence for the shipment. Docket consists of 5 copies.
1. POD COPY.
2. SHIPPER C.OPY
3. XCRP COP.Y
4. FILE COPY.
5. RECEIVER COPY.

Docket must include following details.Which as follows,

➢ Shipper and Consignee name , contact details.

➢ Orgin and destination branches codes and Pincode.
➢ Invoce number.
➢ Bar code stiker numbers.
➢ No. of Packages and type.
➢ Dimensions.
➢ Discription of Goods.
➢ Mode of transportation. ( Surface/ Air)
➢ Freight .
 BOOKING PROCESS FLOW

Booking received from the shipper.

Shipment transported from the brances to controlling branch and updated the
booking details in ERP.

After updation in ERP .Shipment should be send to HUB along with docekts that
same date it self.

Received the shipments at the HUB and segregate the shipments regional wise.
and strored in the HUB.

Load the shipments on the vehicle based on the destination regional HUB wise
after scannng bar code.

After loading the shipments prepare all necessary docuents like consolidted E-
WAY bill,TCS challan and TCS trip sheet.

Finally handover all the dockets and documents to the truck driver for out
delivery of Shipments.
 DELIVERY PROCESS FLOW

Shipmet received from all region to Home region HUB.

Scanning the all dockets before unloading the shipments from the truck.After
scanning all shipments unload the shipments from the truck.

After updation in ERP .Shipments segreagated controlling branch wise

Shipents send to controlling branchs along with all dockets at same day it self.

Received the shipments from HUB and segregated at the branch level and
prepare Delivery challan for final delivery of shipment.

Finally handover all the dockets and DC challan to the BA for delivery of
Shipments. And receive the aknowldgement for the same from the consignee.

After receiving aknowldegment the same updated in ERP for billing process.
