1. CORPORATE OFFICE
1.1 WHAT IS A CORPORATE OFFICE?
Corporate is a term that pertains to corporations. A corporate office is the main office, also
called the headquarters, of a corporation. This office is usually the hub of the company and
often serves as the central location where top decisions are made. The corporate office is
generally where the executives of the company, including the CEO, maintain their offices. A
corporation might have other offices across the country or the world that report to the corporate
office and the company's CEO. These additional offices might take their direction on company
policy and practices from the decisions made at the corporate office. The corporate office
ensures that accounts, payrolls ,marketing planning, etc work are taken care of by professionals.
In short, the corporate offices are existing to plan the task and support the field work. People
working in corporate offices are highly professionals who ensure to manage that fine balance
in all the departments.

1.2 AMENITIES
Corporate offices are known for having comfortable amenities that make the working place
better and comfortable. For instance there are cubical, computers, and advance communication
equipment that makes working conditions much better. Furthermore, every corporate office has
a cafeteria or canteen where people spend their break and refresh their minds. There is also a
facility vending machine which avails coffee on regular intervals to keep your mind fresh.
Generally corporate offices have different departments which take care of different things.
There is often a big meeting room that is often used for different meetings held by different
departments. Sometimes corporate offices also have waiting rooms or lobbies for visitors or
guests. Frankly speaking, an office gives a much better working condition to people than people
who work in shops, factories or any other location. Virtual Office Which industry doesn’t make
use of the internet? The corporate office is not an exception. There are two types of corporate
office; one is physical about which we had talked in the above paragraph. The other type of
corporate office is the virtual office. This office works on an internet. Employees work
remotely from their home. When they need to communicate they use the phone, mails, chats
etc. Occasionally meetings are held for discussion and meeting employees. However, most of
the work is done remotely and there is no need of having a physical office.Furthermore, having
work in a virtual office has its own advantageous and disadvantageous. Location Corporate
office can be located nearby a production house or outlets. It gives all the employees better
access to management.

1.3 LOCATIONS OF CORPORATE OFFICES

Corporate headquarters is considered a business' most prestigious location. A corporation's
headquarters may also bring prestige to the city it is located in and help attract other businesses
to the area. Businesses frequently locate their corporate headquarters in large cities, such as
New York, because of the greater business opportunities available there. The
corporate headquarters may or may not be in the location in which the business is
incorporated or where the majority of its employees work. Offices of a business that are not
the corporate headquarters are called "branch offices". The headquarters is often selected by
the founders of the company to be conveniently located to where they live. Branch offices
may then be opened, either locally, within the country or internationally. Companies,
however, generally do not have two corporate headquarters, even if they are international
companies, although they may have branches that take on some of the responsibility for
making corporate decisions in other countries. For example, if a company is headquartered in
New York but has an office in London, the company may assign a specific location in
London to act as the London headquarters and to perform the tax function and legal
compliance function within the United Kingdom.
