Unemployment - Ang Kawalang trabaho ay nangyayari kapag ang mga tao ay


walang trabaho ngunit aktibong naghahanap ng trabaho. Ang rate ng kawalang
trabaho ay isang sukat ng pagiging laganap ng kawalang trabaho at kinukwenta
bilang isang persentahe na hinahati ng bilang ng mga indibidwal na walang
trabaho ang lahat ng mga indbidwal na kasalukuyang nasa pwersang trabaho.
Underemployment - underemployment naman ay ang pagsukat ng kakayahan at
karanasan ng isang manggagawang magtrabaho. Sila ang mga manggawa na
may mataas na kakayahan sa paggawa ngunit nagtatrabaho sa mababang
trabaho mga "part-timer" dahil walang kakayahang magtrabaho ng "full-time."
Full employment - Full employment is a situation in which everyone who wants
a job can have work hours they need on fair wages. Because people switch jobs,
full employment involves a positive stable rate of unemployment. An economy
with full employment might still have underemployment where part-time
workers cannot find jobs appropriate to their skill level. In macroeconomics, full
employment is sometimes defined as the level of employment at which there is
no cyclical or deficient-demand unemployment. (Full employment, n.d.)is a

makapagtrabaho at kumite ng salapi.

Blue Collar- Ang blue collar job ito ay tumutukoy sa gawain ng manggagawang
mas higit na ginagamit ang lakas pisikal at inerhiya sa pag-likha ng mga
produkto kagaya ng mga karpentero o welders

White Collar- ng white collar job ay mas ginagamit ang kanilang mental na
kapasidad at kaisipan kagaya ng mga abogado o guro.
1987 constitution Art. 2, sec. 18 at Art. 13, sec 3 Section 18 Article II of the
1987 Constitution provides that the State affirms labor as a primary social
economic force. It shall protect the rights of workers and promote their welfare.

R.A. 6418 - The Act mandates the elimination of age-based discrimination not
only by employers, but also by labor contractors or subcontractors. Echoing the
mandate of the Philippine Constitution, it aims to promote equal work
opportunities for everyone by prohibiting arbitrary age limitations in the hiring
of applicants, as well as, the dismissal and retirement of employees

Labor Code - The Labor Code of the Philippines stands as the law governing
employment practices and labor relations in the Philippines. It was enacted on
Labor day of 1974 by President Ferdinand Marcos, in the exercise of his then
extant legislative powers. It prescribes the rules for hiring and termination of
private employees; the conditions of work including maximum work hours and
overtime; employee benefits such as holiday pay, thirteenth month pay and
retirement pay; and the guidelines in the organization and membership in labor
unions as well as in collective bargaining.

Magna Carta for Labor - This policy brief provides the rationale and
recommendations for upholding the rights of workers in the informal economy,
particularly the women and other marginalized groups, by transitioning them to
the formal economy towards the realization of decent work for all.

Minimum Wage-Ang minimum wage ay ang pinakamababang sahod na maaring


ibigay sa isang empleyado sa ilalim ng batas ng bansa.

Contractual (E.O. no. 51 ending Endo) - IMPLEMENTING ARTICLE 106 OF THE


LABOR CODE OF THE PHILIPPINES, AS AMENDED, TO PROTECT THE RIGHT TO
SECURITY OF TENURE OF ALL WORKERS BASED ON SOCIAL JUSTICE IN THE 1987
PHILIPPINE CONSTITUTION

Privatization- Privatization (also spelled privatisation) can mean different things


including moving something from the public sector into the private sector. It is
also sometimes used as a synonym for deregulation when a heavily regulated
private company or industry becomes less regulated. Government functions and
services may also be privatized; in this case, private entities are tasked with the
implementation of government programs or performance of government
services that had previously been the purview of state-run agencies. Some
examples include revenue collection, law enforcement, and prison
management.

Mismatch- Ang job mismatch o skills mismatch ay mga konsepto o termino na


tumutukoy sa isang kalagayan sa paggawa, kung saan ang isang indibidwal ay
may trabaho ngunit hindi tugma sa kakayanan o pinag-aralan nito.
