Briefing for Death & Dying Seminar

Objectives

At the end of the presentations students should:

Have knowledge of the psychological models/theories of death and dying

Have knowledge of the psychological processes involved in death and dying

Appreciate its relevance to medical practice

Prepare a power point presentation on the topic of death and dying – you should include the following:

Model/theories of death and dying

Statement about the importance of and relevance of the models to medical/clinical practice.

The presentations should be no more than 20 minutes long with 5 mins for questions
