Unix operating system was conceived and implemented
969 at AT&T's Bell Laboratories in the United States by
Thompson, Dennis Ritchie, Douglas McIlroy, and Joe
anna. First released in 1971, Unix was written entirely in
mbly language as it was common practice at the time.
