ICAR-CIFA conducted various trainings from January to August 2016 on topics related to freshwater aquaculture and fisheries. Over 500 participants in total attended trainings covering subjects such as freshwater pearl farming, carp breeding management, molecular biology techniques, catfish seed production, and using computational tools to analyze biological data. The trainings ranged from 5 to 25 participants and were conducted for stakeholders including farmers, fishery officers, and international participants from Nepal and Uganda.
