CONCLUSION

Highway pavement plays an important role in convenience, warning and direction. Most
road projects today involve modifications to existing roadways, and the planning, operation, and
maintenance of such projects often are opportunities for improving ecological condition.
We observed that the road has defects in the signages, pavement road markings,
sidewalks, drainage, and road block which was caused by various conditions such as, lack of
inspection of the road.
We, the researchers, after referring to the scientific survey and theory concepts of road
failure, came up with the following conclusions… Which can help to improve the quality of
maintenance and minimize the number of repairing.

 The pavement should be designed with precise future forecasting

 The pavement should be constructed as per design only
 The pavement and signages should be maintained periodically
RECOMMENDATION
The following are the recommendations resulting from this study:

 Improvements are needed in assessment methods and data, including spatially explicit
models. A checklist addressing potential impacts should be adopted that can be used for
rapid assessment. Such a checklist would focus attention on places and issues and latest
concerns.
 Monitoring systems should be developed for the evaluation and assessment of
environmental effects resulting from changes in the road system- for example, traffic
volume, vehicle mix, structure modifications, and network adjustments.
 Research into methods and technology transfer in order to maintain temporal continuity
for pavement performance data should be encouraged
