“Everything we love about civilization is a product of intelligence, so amplifying our human

intelligence with artificial intelligence has the potential of helping civilization flourish like never
before – as long as we manage to keep the technology beneficial.“
Max Tegmark

Artificial Intelligence is the most commonly term used by people. We heard the term Artificial
Intelligence many a times infact we use it in our daily life too but the problem is that we don’t know
the proper meaning or the exact meaning. What actually Artificial Intelligence mean? How we are
using it in our daily Life? Why do we need Artificial Intelligence?

So, here we are going to discuss about Artificial Intelligence. And at the end we will be able to answer
the question which we mentioned above.

What is Artificial Intelligence?

From SIRI to self-driving cars, artificial intelligence (AI) is progressing rapidly. While science
fiction often portrays AI as robots with human-like characteristics, AI can encompass
anything from Google’s search algorithms to IBM’s Watson to autonomous weapons.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is the simulation of human intelligence processes by

machines, especially computer systems. These processes include learning
(the acquisition of information and rules for using the information), reasoning
(using rules to reach approximate or definite conclusions) and self-correction.
Particular applications of AI include expert systems, speech
recognition and machine vision.

Conclusion

“Whenever I hear people saying AI is going to hurt people in the future I think, yeah, technology
can generally always be used for good and bad and you need to be careful about how you build
it … if you’re arguing against AI then you’re arguing against safer cars that aren’t going to have
accidents, and you’re arguing against being able to better diagnose people when they’re sick.”
