response, this is in no way an extensive list but consists of places that do not
require a faculty sponsor and most of them can be applied to online or via email)

1.Einstein Medical Center (Philadelphia) : $800 for 2 weeks + cost of housing and

2. University of South Florida, Tampa General Hospital : $2000 for 4 weeks, seats
fill up quickly so apply ahead of time.

3. UCSD (uni. of California, San Diego) : $5000 for 4 weeks(excluding housing and
transport), cost of living is high in this area.

4. George Washington University, Washington DC : $1450 per week, highly competitive


and accepts fewer IMGs but worth a try.

5. Drexel University, philadelphia : $7500 per 4 weeks, accepts a large number of

6. SUNY, Upstate New York : application fee is $300 for medicine and $100 for
pediatrics ( non-refundable) observership fee is $1000 for 4 weeks in medicine.
