The student is enjoying their second semester of the Computer Science Business Analytics program despite the challenges. They learned C++ programming and were able to create complex programs. Analytic Geometry was very difficult but they were able to pass with help from classmates and a brilliant professor. Physical education requirements are also challenging to schedule but the student has no regrets about their major and enjoys coding, even if it is difficult.

This semester marked my second one as a student in the computer science
program at FEU Institute of Technology. Last semester was pretty good so far, I somehow passed all subjects. The Computer Science Business Analytics is the program i chose and have found (somewhat surprisingly) that I really enjoy it. Allow me to tell you a bit more about it.
Being a Computer Science student is difficult. In my Computer Programming class,
we were taught the basics of the C++ programming language and practiced writing programs. We were able to make a computer do pretty complex stuff, such as: converting miles to kilometers, storing student test scores, creating a mini game and even creating a program in which the computer always makes the best move! It was hard to code when you want something from your program to be done, but also rewarding in the end. Analytic Geometry was the subject I was really having a hard time at. It was taught us by a brilliant professor who explains math really well and help me to work hard and seek to understand our world and how it works mathematically. It was very difficult, but also very fulfilling when you manage to know how to answer it properly and I’m thankful that I have these classmates that is helpful when I’m having a hard time in understanding it. This is the subject I am currently having a hard time but I can manage to pass this subject. The P.E class is another level of hassle since you don’t have a fixed time to have P.E classes. You must need to either have a Reservation where you are going to have P.E class or if you don’t have a reservation you have to line up into the gym for a walk-in class and the requirement this semester is to render 48 hours. Overall, the process of programming and learning difficult math concepts was incredibly satisfying if you know how to do it very well and led me to still pursue my course. I know, it’s not every day that somebody actually wants to do coding, but that’s how I felt after these classes! I have no regrets in being a computer science student here in FIT. The Facilities here in FEU fits to the people that are staying here because they provide study areas on almost every floor of the building.
