PRODUCT: CASSAVA-TWIST

Cassava -twist is classified as tangible good product based on Cassava Cake. It is

a new quality product that is very healthful, nutritious and beneficial to human health. On

the other hand, the product will be processed through individuals or hired skilled

personnel.

The following are the ingredients of the product:

Cassava twist can be served as a dessert or snack. It can be a good replacement of rice

because of its high content of carbohydrates, calories, sugar and some nutrition that the

rice have. Having snack with this Cassava-twist is really satisfying. It is nutritious and

healthy food that satisfies the hunger of individual in just one bite. Everyone doesn’t have

to worry about their health because there are no any chemicals added unto it. Cassava

Twist can easily satisfy the taste of everyone due to its palatable, delicious, and nutritious

taste.

To maintain good quality service and the reputation of the business, the business

organization would ensure the workers and customers safety, health, and environment.

II. PRICE

The formulated price of Cassava-twist product is considered for the expectations of the

customers. In considering the formulated price, the product can be sold per pack or per piece.

However, the business offers 10% discount.

Thus, the price per pack costs Php180.00 and Php30.00 per piece.

III. PLACE

The target place of the business which the product can be sold and distributed is in the

different provinces of Region 2. It can be sold and distributed in the province of Nueva Vizcaya,

Quirino, Batanes, Isabela, and Cagayan. The strategy of the organization in promoting the

product is to establish branches in the different provinces of Region 2. In the province of Nueva

Vizcaya, the business is located at Magsaysay, Bayombong. In Quirino, the business is located at

Bonifacio,Diffun. In the province of Batanes, the business would be established in Radawan,

Ivana. Mabini, Santiago, in Isabela and Rizal in Cagayan. The main branch and office of the

business is at Maharlika Highway, Mabini, Santiago City, Isabela.

It is imperative for the business organization to extend its establishment or branches

because it is a big help in achieving our goal when it comes to profit. The more branches we

have, the more customers we’ll gain from different locations. Our main objective of having these

branches is to promote our product to different places and if possible to the whole region. We’re

not just aiming for small number of costumers but we want everyone to experience, to taste and

to enjoy the product.

The organization preferred to locate the business in these following places because these

are the areas where they can find bigger numbers of population which is the target of the

business. If we locate the business in these rural areas of nueva vizcaya, it would be easy for us

to promote our business as well as our product, rather than putting up a business in a smaller

numbers of possible customers because we may won’t have the chance to let our business be

well-known.

Moreover, the distribution strategy would be through direct selling to the business

clients/customers. It indicates that the producer directly sells either through online orders

(company websites) or selling to the customers. It is an advantage to the business to develop

public relations and to understand the changing needs of the customers.

IV. PROMOTION

 Sales talk strategy

The business can catch the attention of the buyers through sales talk. It builds

customers and business relationship that is the key to a great business partners.

Customers can directly express their concerns.

 Social media advertising

The business will make a Facebook page that will be used to advertise the

product. The business will post information about the product and they can encourage

more customers.

Another promotion strategy is through e-mail marketing via newsletters. It is a

fantastic vehicle for advertisement and is one of the best ways to promote the product. E-

mail newsletter allow us to easily share news of our product, photos and information with

customers.

 In-store Promotions

The business will create alternative logos and signal which one of the reason why

people want to go to the store. Aside from having attractive logos and signage, the business also

offers exclusive in-store discounts.

 Commercial Advertising

The business organization promotes the product “Cassava twist” through

commercial advertising on a local radio station weekly legal talk show within 15 to 30

minutes.

V. PEOPLE

In order to build a business, people are always necessary. The business would be

established through partnership and can be run smoothly and easily through hiring workers/staff.

To be specific, the first people involved in the business are the owners/partners: Joy

Bumidang, Reya Parucha and Loraine Pinkihan. The Management would be handled by the

following managers and staff: Jairah Hammadon, Hannah Monforte, Cristine Alnas, Xyrelle

Sabado, Shaira Ganggangan and other hired personnel or staff.

The following are managers are assigned to every branches of the business:

Every branches of the “CASSAVA TWIST” business, we have 1 assistant manager who

is responsible for monitoring the day to day tasks in the business. We also have 3 proffessional

cooks, 1 cashier, 2 delivery boy, 1 janitor and another 3 staffs who are assigned inside the

operation of the business, such as food servers, packagers, and other tasks.

The business also have 2 online managers for every branch who will be assigned in the

online management where they are responsible in entertaining customers via online using our

facebook page and website. Only the main office who has 2 book keepers/financial assistant.

The target market of the business is people and or customers in the different province of

Region 2. The product will be distributed to the customers at all age who lived in the province of

Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Isabela, Cagayan and Batanes. It is also an advantage to the business

the tourists who visits such provinces to buy the product.
