IN RE: DISMISSAL OF SPECIAL CIVIL ACTIONS IN NLRC CASES

In light of the decision in St. Martin Funeral Homes v. NLRC (G.R. No. 130866, 16 September 1998),
all special civil actions arising out of any decision or final resolution or order of the National Labor
Relations Commission filed with the Court after 01 June 1999 shall no longer be referred to the Court
of Appeals, but shall forthwith be DISMISSED.

Let this resolution be published in two newspaper of general circulation in the Philippines and copies
thereof furnished the Integrated Bar of the Philippines and the National Labor Relations Commission.

Promulgated this 9th day of February 1999.
