Strength

 Have spacious space for different activities such as picnic, jogging and sports.
 Surrounded by many trees that provide natural shades and filter or block the direct
sunlight.
 The site for the migration of birds which can attracts photographers or visitors to take
photos
 Have good natural lightning in the morning, afternoon and evening.
 Have good ventilation since it is an open area.
 Cafes are located near to the site which convenient the visitors.
 Easy access to the site due to its strategic location in Universiti Sain Malaysia.

Weakness
 Water ponding at the pathway.
 Unpleasent smell from the Golden Phenix foodcourt make the visitors feel
uncomfortable.
 Less lightning at night due to not enough street lamps which is only located in some
part of the site.
 Existing sport facilities are in poor condition and not enough.
 Sound and air pollution from the Jalan Universiti during the peak hour.
 Uneven pedestrian way with holes may cause injuries to the visitors.
 Harmful animals such as lizards and insects causing less people to visit the site.
 Dirty water of Tasik Aman and Tasik Harapan make the visitors feel disgusting.
 Not enough entrances.
 Not enough utilities such as benches, street lamps and wakaf.
 Some part of the walkway is too narrow which only allow one person the use the
walkway.
 Overgrowth weed and rubbish may attract dangerous wild animals such as snakes.
Opportunities

 Make use of the existing Tasik Aman and Tasik Harapan for leisure activities such as
conoe.
 Potential to build canopy walkway, flying fox or big swing because there have many
trees in the site.
 Potential to build cafes which to convenient the visitors.
 Potential to create a floating market on the existing Tasik Aman and Tasik Harapan to
attract more tourists.
 Potential to build floating Gazebo or pavilion on Tasik Aman or Tasik Harapan to make
the site more attractive.
 Potential to create a night garden by decorating the trees with LED lights.
 Beautify the walkway with 3D street art painting.
 Providing spaces for night market.
 Potential to create an orchard or planting space for vegetables and fruits.
 Potential to create flower garden by planting orchids, hibiscus and so on.
 Providing cycling walkway.

Threats
 Falling of trees may cause accident or injuries to the visitors.
 Only have few entrances in the site which difficult the visitors.
 Rubbish and water ponding on the walkway cause the breeding of mosquitoes which
will lead to diseases such as Denggi.
 The visitors feel uncomfortable due to attack by insects such as mosquitoes and ants.
 Flood may occur due to heavy rain because Tasik Aman and Tasik Harapan cannot
store large amount of rain water.
 Dangerous at night because of less lighting and this causing less people visit the site at
night.
 Pungent smell from Tasik Aman and Tasik Harapan make the visitor feel
uncomfortable.
 Unsafe environment due to wild animals in the area such as lizards and monkeys.
 Limited parking space for the visitors.
 High temperature in the afternoon cause outdoor activities difficult to carry out in the
site.
 Weather such as raining affects outdoor activities.
