STAPHYLOCOCCUS

EPIDERMIDIS (COCCUS)
is a Gram-positive bacterium, and one of
over 40 species belonging to the genus
Staphylococcus. It is part of the normal
human flora, typically the skin flora, and
less commonly the mucosal flora.
