COMPANY PROFILE
Himalayan Group of Industries is one of the major packaging solutions provider companies
in India. The group started its journey in the year 2001 with coal trading and further
diversified into various industrial sectors like coal mining, steel manufacturing through blast
furnace route, power plant, coke ovens and shipping. Presently we have operations in
Australia, Indonesia, South Africa, Canada, Singapore and Zimbabwe in addition to India. It
started its packaging division in the year 2006 with the name and style of Himalayan
Packaging Industries (P) Ltd. at Selaqui, Dehradun to manufacture PET/PP/PC/HDPE bottles
being used in Pharma, FMCG, lubes and liquor Industry. The group is being managed and
run by a group of qualified professionals with a blend of young team and experienced
professionals from top notch Institutions. Today we have been able to capture almost 10% of
the total market share in the pharma segment in India. This has been achieved
through quality-focused, cost effective, time bound & customized packaging solutions with
our commitment to excellence.
We have production capacity of over 15 Lac bottles per day, besides we have the required
expertise to customize every requirement of our esteemed customers in the packaging
industries. At Himalayan, we use world class technology of Nissei ASB, Japan for ISBM and
Windsor SPRINT Injection Moulding machines. The products are packed in a Clean Room
(Class 10000) under stringent supervision of quality control division. The Single Stage
technology ensures that raw-materials to finished products are fully automated with zero
possibility of contamination of any sorts.

Recently Himalayan Group of Industries has acquired Mahapet India Pvt. Ltd. which is based
in Madhya Pradesh, about 25kms from Bhopal at Satlapur Industrial Area, Mandideep, Phase
II on the National Highway to Nagpur which is spread over an area of 2.5 acres. This foray
into the primary packaging sector is to build & create a benchmark in the primary packaging
industry in every way in a phased manner with PET being the initial thrust area & later on
PP.
