GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR INTRAMS 2013

1. The affair formally kicks off on November 20, 21 and ends on November 22, 2013. The games are
scheduled between 7 AM to 4:30 PM. Game time may change as the committee sees it fit. A
programme is provided for proper reference on the order and scheduled of events.

2. All bona fide students of Ste. Anne de Beaupré School and St. Anne’s Special School are encouraged to
join the games. Team leaders and/ or teacher heads of each team should organize their respective
teams to make the events transpire fairly and orderly.

3. Each student of Ste. Anne de Beaupré School and St. Anne’s Special School should belong to a team.
There are four (4) teams: Red Team, Blue Team, Green Team and Yellow Team. Without a team, no
student can join the games.

4. Each student and parent must wear his/her corresponding colored shirt, e.g., Red Team members
should wear Intrams red shirts. Blue team should wear blue. The school will buy the t-shirts with
printed logo of Intrams 2013 for the students and parents. No Intrams shirt, no playing in the games.

5. The committee and the fourth year student will wear white shirt with printed logo of Intrams 2013.

6. Point system will determine the over-all winner of Intrams 2013. Knock out system will determine the
finalist for each event. In case of a tie, a tie-breaker will be administered to break the deadlock. The tie
breaking events depend on what both teams agree on. If there is no settlement, the committee will
announce what tie-breaking event is to be played. A Winner in RELAYS gets TWENTY (20) points, 1st
Runner-up gets FIFTEEN (15) points, 2nd
 Runner-up gets ELEVEN (11) points and 3rd
 Runner-up garners
SEVEN (7) points. For the MAJOR CHALLENGE the Winner gets FORTY (40) points, 1st Runner-up gets
THIRTY (30) points, 2nd
 Runner-up gets TWENTY-TWO (22) points, and 3rd Runner-up garners
FOURTEEN (14) points. Whoever has the accumulated points will be the champion.

7. The fourth year high school students are called upon to help in all the different games (not just
volleyball and basketball). The committee will give them their individual assignments. It is the yearly
tradition of this institution to tap the fourth year resources since they have been proven to be reliable,
responsible and mature in their duties and decisions. Game fixing will merit a disciplinary action from
the school’s administration.

8. Entry forms per game, per level are provided and must be forwarded to the committee to see that
everybody participates and gets a chance to play. Signatures of the team leaders of the two opposing
teams must be affixed on the entry forms. If there are no signatures then the game is considered void.
In case the team leader is absent, then the assistant team leader or any teacher representative must
sign the entry forms.

9. The participant/s for a said event must be on time to avoid delay. Failure to arrive within ten (10)
minutes will result in default. A double default does not merit any points. However, if the
representative/s can make it for the next scheduled game, point’s can and will be earned.

10. Protest/s forwarded by any team will be reviewed thoroughly. Result/s of the deliberation on the
protest/s and the plan/s of action will be done on or before the day three (3). All announcements will
be done on day 3. The announcements and decisions on day three is considered final. The committee
will announce the final decision.

11. The committee has the right to disqualify any team or player found to violate the oath of
sportsmanship or deliberately acting with malice to cheat, hurt the opposing teams. The committee’s
decisions are final.

12. Remember, all those are just for fun. Let’s be humble in victory and gracious in defeat.
