For me the ethical theories that most applicable to our present day situation is utilitarianism
theory, because nowadays in our society all of humans has a different own world, most of us
don’t care in our surroundings they only matter for their own happiness even it has a bad impact
to all. When we watched a news we encounter different issues then we realized that as the day
passing by the world is getting worst because of us human, many people commits crime because
of extreme necessity sometimes we judged them based on what they’ve done but there’s a
concept of utilitarianism on it for example in their family needs a financial support and no one
support them so that they stole even it’s against the law. Utilitarianism theory should apply in
our present today because we need a society that concern for all not just for own sake and for
our environment to be nurtured again because it is really affected today.
