It is with great pleasure and interest that I learned a teaching position opened at your institution.
As a local graduate at Arizona State University and Glendale Community College, I can
personally offer the highest education possible for your students. I have a huge passion for
teaching kids how to write. I enjoy it as much as I enjoy writing myself.

I have been published on four separate occasions during my short amount of time at Glendale
Community College via The Traveler. I have won first place in their non-fiction category, third
and second place in poetry, and honorable mention in fiction. I learned how to make my voice
bleed through the pages and was highly regarded by every writing professor I had.

I would love nothing more than to teach at what I’ve learned to your students. I am absolutely
committed to creating a safe place for kids to learn how to write professionally and personally. I
believe your institution has the tools for me to follow through on this proposition. Thank you for
