We shifted to Hotel Lakeview as the Intourist Hotel was at outskirts of

the city Rome. We were given room 9c. It was small room with a balcony
with plants and shrubs. The roof was dripping with water, the bathroom
had a pungent smell and the kitchen with no stove, black fridge which
was hot from in. The wall was dirty and misty. There was a dump yard
near the hotel. The citizens on Rome lived in cellars, underground. I was
drinking coffee siting in the balcony and viewed a girl, she was going
near the yard. She picked rotten vegetables and ate them, she crawled
the pile of waste and searched for some food.

Her skin was pale yellow, red eyes with a red liquid on the mouth, she
was bare feet, she crawled and laid down in the pond of dirty water with
weed near it. I went down a offered a loaf of bread, she was so happy as
it was the first bread of her life.
