(on your own) and then head on down to the train station. We’ll be leaving from historic Newport,
WA for a 24 mile round trip train ride headed for Dalkena, WA. We’ll trace the footsteps of early
French traders on their way north to the Klondike gold rush, steamboat gamblers, loggers, miners,
homesteaders, and outlaws.. . Trip price includes Train Admission, Transportation, and Escort.

Pops Organ Concert

The last Pops Concert we attended was fabulous, so come along and hear another wonderful Pops
Concert on a historic1914 mighty Wurlitzer Theatre Organ, performed by Organist “Walt Strony”
who has performed hundreds of concerts internationally including a solo organ recital at Radio City
Music Hall in New York. A great concert so don’t miss it! Trip includes Transportation and Escort.

41st Annual Quilters Show

Join us for an afternoon of fun as we tour the 41 st Annual WA. State Quilters Show at the Spokane
County Fairgrounds. Displays and vendors will fill the Plaza and 3 bays, featuring 500+ quilts, WSQ
Boutique, Cherrywood Fabrics exhibit, 50+ merchants and vendors, a quilt raffle, and master quilter
demonstrations HSC pick up is 12:30pm and home pick ups before.

Greenbluff Harvest Tour

Celebrate the beautiful and vivid fall colors and harvested food on this great Greenbluff tour. The
Harvest festival will be in full swing with fresh vegetables, fruits, desserts, and much more. All food
is on your own. We will stop at a few farms; Harvest house, Hidden Acres, and High Country for
delicious treats. Traveling the Greenbluff area this time of year is one of the most spectacular sights
in Spokane this time of year! HSC Pick-up is at 12:30 pm.

HSC Halloween Party & Dance

Do not miss the Ghouling fun and Ghostly excitement at our annual Halloween Social Party &
Dance. It will be held this year in the lower level of the NE Community Center, from 11:00am to
3:00pm. Music will be provided by the the “Jerry-at-Tricks” band for your dancing pleasure. Other
spirited activites include a costume contest with prizes for the Scariest, Funniest, & Most Authentic
Halloween Costume, a hearty fall lunch, door prizes and lots of fun Halloween Games. Register
early because we are limited to 75 participants. Trip price includes: Admission, Entertainment,
and Lunch. Doors open at 10:45am, pick ups before.
