Pediatrics Study Guide – VN Term 4 (KH)

1. Know s/s, nursing interventions, meds, any surgical interventions, pt teaching, diet regimen and/or
supplementation required (if applicable), pre- & post-op teaching or considerations, and outcomes with both
compliance and noncompliance for the following diseases or disorders. Don’t forget considerations like isolation
requirements for some of these – you figure out which!
