PARTS OF A DIDACTIC UNIT

1. Description It deals with the name and the topic to be dealt with
• It may include: Former knowledge
 Motivation
 Number of sessions
 Time span

2. Didactic goals/aims What are the students going to learn?


It includes specific goals linked with cross-curricular topics and with the competences.

3. Learning Contents It includes specific contens including concepts, procedures and attitudes.

4. Sequence of It deals with adjusting time and activities considering that the activities must be aimed at reaching

From more elementary to more complex ones. It is not just a matter of “adding” activities, but do

This section must foresee how to apply activities to the different levels of the students.

5. Resources Resourses within the classroom and outside the classrom to be used to carry out the unit

Different systems of assessment may be used, including:
-Self Assessment
-Portfolio
-Visual/Classroom daily assessment
-Tasks
-Written/oral tests
