Size: 10cm (4 in) long and 5.5cm (2 in) wide

Abbreviations:
ch: chain
slst: slip stitch
sc: single crochet
scinc: single crochet increase
scdec: single crochet 2 together
sctbl: single crochet through back loops only
hdc: half double crochet
st(s): stitch(es)

Materials:
 100% Cotton yarn (Yarn used in sample - Patons 100% Cotton Dk in Red
and White and Rico Essentials 100% Cotton Dk in Emerald)
 Size 3.5mm (E) crochet hook
 Yarn needle
 Stitch marker (optional)
The Pattern

With colour of your choice and 3.50 mm (E) hook


Ch2,
OR
Make a magic loop

R1: 5 sc in 2nd ch from hook. (5)


R2: 2 sc in each st around. (10).
R3: 2 sc in each st around.(20)
R4-11: sc in each st around (20)
Now you will work the heel.
R12: turn, ch1, sc in next 10 sts, ch1 turn, (10)
R13- 17: repeat R12 (10)
This will be your heel. Fold the heel in half and using yarn needle whipstitch
the two ends together (it forms a small rectangle). Fasten off and attach new
yarn.
R18-27: Sc in each st around (22)
R28: Using white, sctbl in every st around (22)
R29: ch2, hdc in every st around (22)
Fasten off.
Using red yarn, sl st in the back of the boot at R29, ch 25 and sl st on opposite
side.
Fasten off.

Using your favourite colour combos make lots of them and decorate your tree,
or even turn them into a festive garland.
