different conversations.

asking the speakers to slow down, speak up or repeat what they have
said.

ACTIVITIES: : 1. Teacher writes who?, where? and how? on the whiteboard.
i. PRE-LESSON 2. Teacher pastes the cut out pictures on the wall.
3. Teacher calls out nine students to match the cut out pictures to the
correct WH-questions.

ii. LESSON DEVELOPMENT : Activity 1


1. Students need to identify the pictures correctly.
2. Students discuss in groups and write out words that describe the picture
on mini whiteboard.
3. Teacher checks spelling.
4. Teacher questions students based on the pictures to elicit the answers for
free time/ hobby.

Activity 2
1. Students look at the pictures and match to the questions in B individually.
2. Students compare their answers with their partners.
3. Teacher elicits answer from students.

Activity3
1. Students listen to the three conversations and circle the correct answers.
2. Students listen to the recording twice and answer individually.
3. Students discuss in groups and check their answers in groups.
4. Students listen to the recording again and check the answers as a class.
iii. POST-LESSON : Students reflect on three things they have done well.
