GROUP 1: ALIMEN, JOHN HENRY., ALVAREZ, ALJO., ARROZA, DIVINE

SUMMARY:

Planning will be the most important activity if managing an organization is to be

pursued with strong determination Planning is effective in achieving goals of activities and
projects. Planning consists of a “Plan” which is the output of planning which provides a
methodical way of achieving desired results.
Plans can be classified in terms of functional areas, time horizon, and frequency of
use. Planning activities undertaken at various level which are: Top management level-
strategic planning, Middle management level- intermediate planning, and Lower
management level- operational planning. These levels are necessary to have because it
designates the work which is planning according to who have the best capability or the
right to do it.

OBSERVATION:

The reporters have done really great and I can say is what they’ve done was really
commendable. They are prepared and you can notice that they have studied/research very
well with the topic they presented. A lot of examples for the listeners to easily understood
the topic. They made a good introduction which is good start and they were consistent until
the ed of the report.

RECOMMENDATION:

The reporters had a job well done and the only things I could recommend is video
presentation could make their report better but they are still very good though. But
examples of some professional that are found in the videos can offer lot more learnings to
us listeners. I recommend that they have given hard copies of their report because some
text in the presentations are difficult to read at a far distance.

PLANNING TECHNICAL ACTIVITIES

GROUP 1: ALIMEN, JOHN HENRY., ALVAREZ, ALJO., ARROZA, DIVINE

SUMMARY:

Planning is the most important task in managing an organization. In planning,

developing strategies or tactics to reach goals is important. The ways to realize the goals
are called strategies and these will be the concern of top management. The middle and
lower management will adopt their own tactics to implement their plans.
Planning has 3 different levels namely:Top Management Level or Strategic
Planning, Middle Management Level or Intermediate Planning and Lower Management
Level or Operational Planning. Plans can be classified in terms of functional areas, time
horizon, and frequency of use.

OBSERVATION:

This group report is impressive, that every one of us focus on what are they discussed,
they are not just reading the word on their PowerPoint but they make it more
understandable because they give example that make us listeners relate to it. And also they
present a good visual representation like tables and charts. So the overall presentation is
amazing.

RECOMMENDATION:

I think my recommendation to the reporter is don't just pressure us by difficult

questions, but begin with simple question so that we can think and relate to ourselves. And
also they should tell the opinion of the listener before and after the report to know the
expectation and realization in the class.

The report is so impressive, especially when the reporter made the intro. The reporter
doesn't just explain but gave examples as well. Reporters specify and present the details of
the report that made the class understand easily. They pesented a good visual representation
like tables and chart.

The reporter may ask the listener a simple question and then acknowledge whatever
he may answer. They may also ask the audience to tell the opinion before and after the

Planning is effective in achieving goals of activities and projects. It is a step by step

process in achieving greater results. Planning takes place in different management levels
which requires thorough understanding of steps on planning in various management levels.
Plans can be classified in terms of functional areas, time horizon, and frequency of use. It
is important for a engineer manager to be familiar with various parts of planning in order
to effectively recognize barriers and aids in dealing those barriers. Hence, planning is
important step in achieving a successful leap towards your goals.

OBSERVATION:

This batch of reporter showcase a great mastery of their lesson. They excel on the
following parts; (1) Great mastery of report, (2) Most of the example given are easy to
understood, (3) Showcase excellent skills in introducing a good start of discussion, (4)
Confident reporters, (5) Great learning atmosphere. A group of well prepared and skilled
educator.

RECOMMENDATION:

They were good reporters, but I humbly recommend for each of them to have a fair
distribution on the report. Wherein everyone would be given an equal amount of time to
speak and discuss their idea thoroughly. Making sure each member has imparted a lesson
to everyone. In addition, giving of hard copy is highly recommended, in order to make their
classmates follow their discussion easily. I can relate this group to a Chinese saying “a
polished gem with bits of impurity”.
