Definition of Terms
1. Algebra – comes from the Arabic word, “al-jabr” which means “restoration”
2. Father of Algebra – Muhammad ibn Mūsā al-Khwārizmĺ
3. Variables – are symbols that represent quantities with no fixed values.
4. Algebraic Expression – is any variable, numeral/constant, or a combination of both joined
together using symbol of operations.
