A Case Study of Golden Harvest University Hill Subdivision in Tuguegarao City,

Cagayan

Scope and Delimitations


The case study is conducted to know how the existing Golden Harvest Subdivision in Carig
Sur, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan correlates to the REVISED IMPLEMENTING RULES AND
REGULATIONS FOR BATAS PAMBANSA BLG. 220.
The case study to be analysed herein are the personal analysis (Comparative Analysis)
which tackles four important aspects bas in the design of the said subdivision. This includes:
1. Site Criteria
2. Planning Considerations
3. Design Parameters
4. Building Design Standards
The scope of the case study is to assess the existing Golden Harvest University Hill
Subdivision as per rules and regulations and is delimited to the general analysis of the researchers
and the technical aspects as provided in BP 220. Moreover, this case study is also delimited to
the data prior to the researchers’ interview with the locales and authorities to the subdivision,
site inspection (Photo Documentation), and internet researches.

General Information:
Golden Harvest Subdivision, Carig Sur, Tuguegarao City is a 2.6 km (3,500-step) route
located near Cagayan, Philippines. This route has an elevation gain of about 47 m and is rated as
easy. Golden Harvest University Hill Subdivision was registered as Home Owners Association
(HOA).
Home Owners Association (HOA) is an organization of homeowners of a particular
subdivision, condominium or planned unit development. The purpose of a home owners
association is to provide a common basis for preserving, maintaining and enhancing their homes
and property. Most homeowners' associations are non-profit corporations. They are subject to
