The classification of the article consists of 6 parts of them introduction; review of
related; research method; result and discussion; and conclusion and recommendation.
The first was an introduction, the introduction is divided into 5 parts including Problems,
Solution, Previous Research, Research Question, and Purpose/Goals. In the article there is a
problem about the increase of vegetarians that consist of people who know and don’t know
nutritional knowledge well. Besides there is a problem in this article also mentioned solutions
to overcome these problems. The solution is keep in mind the importance of careful planning
and balancing food to maintain a healthy vegetarian diet. Futhermore, in this article there is a
previous research of vegetarians not only showed a greater desire for more improved
information to be applied to their eating habits. After that, there is a purpose which is to
compare between vegetarians and non vegetarians using 3 method including nutrition
knowledges, nutrition attitudes and dietary patterns. The last is the research question, the
research question was asked to clarify the contents of the article. Then there are review of
related used in this study are nutritional knowledge, attitudes towards vegetarian diets, and
conceptual framework. Within this conceptual framework there is an explicit theory, namely
TPB.
Next, this research was conducted in Midwest University. The data was collected
from 702 colleges student. The data was collected using survey techniques. This research
design was used web based survey and presented in the table of the previous surveys, there
are 7 tables in total. Analyze this research data used pleminary analysis and data analysis.
The research instrument there is a questionnare that are in Measuring Nutrition Knowledge,
Food Frequency, Attitudes Towards Nutrition & Vegetarian.
Then there is a discussion in this research. This discussion was found to explore
differences based on food choices related to vegetarianism and there were also questionnaires
that showed significant differences between diet types and nutritional knowledge, such as
there is a strong relationship between the type of diet and the attitude of a vegetarian diet,
then to know the different dietary patterns of the food frequency questionnaire. However This
survey does not show the superiority of nutritional knowledge or food for choosing a
vegetarian lifestyle. Finally there is the conclusion of the research article. This conclusion
were conclude that this research informs about the choice of diet types and the attitude of
vegetarian diet. Then at future research must have a broader scope and focus on the main
thing, and also has participation is limited and has a scope of research.
