A TRIP TO THE SUBIC BAY, PHILIPPINES
I was so excited for our camping trip to Subic Zambales, a
fascinating place located at the central part of Luzon. Subic is a coastal
municipality in the Philippines, northwest of the capital Manila. Its
sandy beaches face Subic Bay, a popular dive site due to is shipwrecks
and coral species. Subic Bay is a bay forming part of Luzon Sea on the
west coast of the island of Luzon in Zambales, Philippines, about 100
kilometres northwest of manila bay. “Subic Bay”, a beautiful name for
a beautiful place wherein we had fun because of adventuring and
staying there for 3 days. To the east, Subic Bay Freeport Zone features
casinos and a golf course. Farther around the bay, theme parks include
Ocean Adventure, a memorable place where in we pitched our tents.
We tried all of the activities in Ocean Adventure, wow! That was all
fun. Then there is this Zoobic Safari, full of beautiful, unique, and
talented animal creatures.
Subic Bay was the site of a former US naval base that was
converted into a beach town in the broader proximity of manila. We
explored every show that was performed by the pet animals with their
trainers, all of their performances are about nature. There were a lot of
lessoned i learned from all of those show. “Protect our Mother
Nature”, “Respect animals, don’t abuse them”. The next day we went
to Magaul Bird Park, a feathery place full of birds. I was seating in the
front seat when suddenly a bird flew in front of us and started to show
off, all of us were shocked. I was also amazed of how Kuya Cardo
taught us some of his survival hacks like making a plate, spoon and
fork, and cup out of bamboo. Kuya Cardo is a soldier that worked for
almost six years serving and protecting our country. “Every little
creature is unique” they said, i was touched of the way how the
animals acted how the aggressive people are treating them, abusing
them. That fun lasted when we went back home. I want to go back
there to have some fun time again.
BORACAY, THE GREAT ISLAND
Last summer, we went to the island of Boracay to explore new
things and have some fun. Boracay is a small island in the central
Philippines. It is known for its resorts and beaches. It is located
approximately 315 kilometres off the northwest tip of Panay island .we
first rode an airplane to Caticlan airport, then travelled by using a boat
from the Caticlan jetty port, an waited for 20 minutes for a boat.
What a relaxing place, a white beach backed by a palm trees,
located at the west coast of Boracay. I was curious, because the settlers
there are speaking different language, what language could it be? That
is when i knew that the first settlers are Negritos called Ati, the
language spoken by the are Visayan language. Time to explore! On the
east coast of Boracay Island, we can find the Bulabog Beach with the
strong winds that make it a water sports hub. Nearby, i was fascinated
when we went to observe the Mountain of Luho that offers panoramic
view over the beautiful island. Offshore, coral reefs and shipwrecks
are home to diverse marine life. After exploring, we were tired of
walking around, that’s why we stopped at the nearby restaurant. We
ate a lot of Hawaiian foods, cocktail and even more delicious foods.
We then went swimming, we built a sandcastle from the shiny
white sand. We slept on a Hotel Resort, the Lingganay. Their service
there was fantastic, the stock of foods are great and fast to serve too.
The rooms are comfortable. The next day we went home, we bought
souvenirs for memories at Boracay, we left a memorable moment of
our family having fun at Boracay. We made a lot of memories during
our trip to the great island of Boracay. Now it’s a goodbye.
 A TRIP TO BAGUIO
The day when we went to Baguio was so amazing. We of course,
travelled there by a bus. Looking through out the window of the bus, I
can see some beautiful parks with beautiful designs. Baguio is a
mountain town of universities and resorts and is located at region
CAR, at Philippine’s Luzon island. It is called the “Summer Capital”
of the Philippines, because of its cold weather. We first wen to
Burnham park, i wonder why it is called the Burnham park? It is called
Burnham Park because the original blueprint of the city was made by
American architect Daniel Burnham. Burnham Park is located in Josec
Abad Santos Drive, Baguio City 2600 Benguet Philippines. It covers a
total land of 32.84 hectares. The park is full of activities for a kid like
me to play. We rented a bike, it was fun after all.

We went to SM city Baguio to buy “pasalubong” for our relatives.

SM city Baguio is an enclosed shopping mall. I was shocked and at the
same time amazed when I known that it is the largest shopping mall in
the whole north Luzon region.

The next day, we went to strawberry farm. It was truly full of

strawberries. I went to take a piece of a strawberry and took a bite,
wow! It is berry-delicious. I also tried the strawberry ice cream, I knew
it was cold and the weather is cold too, I still ate it and the taste was.....
yum. Later on, we went to the bus station and bought souvenirs for
fantastic memories. Goodbye Baguio.
