Why Jesus?
Probably the most important question on the minds of each and every mind of person that has not 

sought  a  real  relationship  with  Jesus,   or  continues  to  make  excuses  as  the  reason  why  they 

haven’t gotten their lives together is probably, “Why Should I Even Choose to Follow Jesus?”  

Now  if we encounter an individual with these questions, we must be very careful as to the way in  

which  we  respond  to  their  concerns,  because  the  truth  of  the  matter  is  that  everyone  that  has 

decided to follow to Jesus, has had to come with terms with the same question.

Who is Jesus to Us (You)? 
 ● He is God Almighty

Isaiah 9:6 ​
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his

shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of

Peace. Jesus was declared to be the Mighty God and Everlasting Father long before he was

ever conceived in the womb of Mary. The Everlasting Father became the child and son born in

the manger. That is one of the main reasons why Jesus was called Immanuel, because He was

God with us.

● He willingly laid down his life for us because he loved us

According to 2 Corinthians 5:17, if you choose to follow Jesus, you will become a new

creature in Christ Jesus from the moment you became born again. You will be a brand new

person. The old man with his evil desires will be dead. 2 Corinthians 5:21 says, ​
that you are

made the righteousness of God in ​ You are not righteous in and of yourself, because

according to Isaiah 64:6, our righteousness is as filthy rags. So, with the choice of following

Jesus, we will be trading our own-self righteousness for His righteousness. We are righteous

because of the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. Once we follow Christ, God will sees us as in

Christ, God sees you as a brand new being through the blood of Jesus.
How Does This Apply to Finding That One Love?

When looking at the topic of One Love, we find that Jesus Christ is the perfect example

of One Love. He showed us that if we choose, He will teach us the way in which we are to love

ourselves (will give us a true sense of identity). He will show us, how we need to move when we

are in relationships with others, (especially dating relationships). He will show us how to love

God. He will show us what we need to do in order to have a true relationship with God, and

what the benefits of having a relationship with God are.
