An introvert's story!!

I am a reticent person which means I look inward and pay close attention to my thoughts and emotions.I had
also developed autism in my childhood and to spice things up I could not go to crowded places because I had
social anxiety. When I was in school, I thought schools were set up for the extroverted personality to shine ,
large classes, collaborations and a wide variety of tasks did not suit for the introverted student. On a similar
note, the creative, multi modal lessons may not provide the time and space that introverts need to think. In
my school days, needless to say, I was an introvert but I never backed down from the challenges be it debate,
quiz participation or anchoring. Nevertheless, some introverted children will need encouragement with
speaking up and sometimes extra support at a pastoral level but I always had belief in me that I had that
tenacity to cope with the hurdles. I , seriously, never liked to go to school. School was a bore nothing but
French, Facts and Fractions. The classmates of mine always had a question for me , "Why you are not
talking?"and for sure my first instinct was to say that it is beacause "You never shut up". Fast forward in my
graduation, I became an ambivert to some an extent. I experienced infatuation for the first time and got into a
relationship with a girl but that ended in something I never wished for. I became aloof at that time. I drew
limits after then. I am now comfotable in my own world and I have also become standoffish. I am in love with
my silence and I would not regret becoming a deaf or dumb now.
