EXT.STREET 1

Matti is walking home from school wearing her school bag on

her back. There are two dolls peeking out of here bag, She
is in a world of her own singing into herself while looking
up at the sky wondering how big the clouds are, she is
fascinated by the size of the sky and how blue the sky can
be. Suddenly her day dream is interrupted by sound of
smashing glass and muffled screaming voices coming from
inside her house

MUFFLD SCREAMING MAN

Now I dont give a fuck what you
said I’m not going to stay in here
and listen to this shit anyome.

MUFFELED SCREAMING WOMAN

Listen listen? When the fuck do you
ever listen to me? you never listen
to me.

INT. HALL WAY 2

Matti is entering the house into a dark hallway the sound of

the voices are now prominent and over whelming the are
irritating and are causing Matti to lose her concentration
and the ability ti think clearly.

UN-MUFFLD SCREAMING MAN

I never listen? the only thing I
can do is listen because you never
let me speak.

UN-MUFFELED SCREAMING WOMAN

I never let you speak? you are
never fucking here. How can i talk
to you if you are never fucking
here.

VOICES BECOME MUFFELED AGAIN

She escapes to the tranquility of her bedroom and

INT. MATTI BED ROOM 3

As Mattie enters the room, the sound of the voices fade into
the background as she closes the door. She begins playing
with her toys under the blankets and falls asleep. Some time
later Matti wakes up in her bed, the sound of the voices
that drove her nuts are now gone and the whole house is in
silence.

INT. STAIR CASE BUILD OF SUSPENSE 4

She leaves the room and sets off to the kitchen to find
something to eat. On her way she reaches the staircase. A
cold draft is blowing silently up the stairs and it make her
feel uncomfortable. Suddenly a strange sound from inside the
dark living room makes her question whether or not it is
safe to continue, or run back to the safety of the bedroom.
She waits there for a while before realizing the silliness
of the situation, then walks confidently past the living
room and out to the kitchen to eat

INT KITCHEN SUSPENSE ANTI-CLIMAX SCENE 5

Matti opens the door of the fridge and searches for

something to eat. She finds the milk and fills a huge bowl
with cheerios. Then leaves the kitchen heading back to the
bed room.

INT. LIVING ROOM 6

On her way she notices the draft coming from the living room
and peeks throw the crack in the door. She struggles to see
through the darkness and sees what looks like two red eyes
staring at her from the shadows. She opens the door wider
and turns on the light only to discover that it’s the stand
by lights from the TV which has been left on.She goes behind
the TV and switches off the t TV at the wall.

INT BED ROOM MATTI’S ROOM 7

Back in Mattie’s room the sound of 1920’s music fills the

air as she plays out a happy family life scenario inside her
doll’s house.

She mimics the voices of the characters in her story who

plod along from chapter to chapter with out complaint

MATTIE VOICE OF DOLL’S

DOLL ONE MAN

Hi honey I’m home

DOLL 2 GIRL
Oh it’s so good to see you honey
how was work??

DOLL ONE MAN

It was not good honey i’m glad to
get back home to you

 DOLL 2 GIRL
I brought you your beer honey

DOLL ONE MAN

Oh that’s tastes so good thank you
honey GLUG GLUG GLUG GLUG

After a while angry voices from down stairs erupt through

the quiet. The characters in Mattie’s story immediately
notice and even turn around to investigate

DOLL 2 GIRL
oh my god what was that honey?

DOLL ONE MAN

I dont know honey

MATTIE
dont be scared i will keep you guys
safe by putting you both to bed.

Mattie reassures the dolls that everything is going to be OK

she puts the dolls to bed where they will be safe. As she
does the vibration from a door slamming shakes the house and
the vibration can be seen in the left over milk in Mattie’s
bowl. Mattie open’s the bed room door a crack to investigate
the noise from down stairs. But there is no noise. The whole
house in in silence.except for whispering coming from the
livingroom.

FEMALE VOICE ANGRY WISPERING

you dont need to stay here any more
why dont you just get the fuck out
of here and leave us well alone

MALE VOICE ANGRY WISPERING

I dont need to go anywhere this is
my house you can get the fuck out.

INT. HALL STAIR CASE 8

Mattie moves cautiously along the hall and slides her bum
down each stair one at a time daring herself to go further

INT. LIVING ROOM JUMP SCARE X 2 9

She peeks into the dark living room again to where she
here’s the whispering coming from, and notices that the red
LED’S from the TV are back on again. Matti tries to turn on
the light so she can enter the room but it’s not working.
Nevertheless she gather’s up the courage and enters the

living room to turn off the TV again. As she moves closer to
the TV, she stretches out her hand and moves closer to the
LED and switch. Suddenly she sees that the LED’S are
actually eyes starring at her. She tries to run out of the
living room but the door slams and she is trapped. Mattie
tries to find her way out of the dark living room. She leans
back against the sofa in despair. Just then she feels here
mobile phone in her pocket vibrating and remembers she can
use it as a torch. She opens up the mobile and turns on the
light. The light is really dim and can only light enough do
she can find her way through the darkness as she moves she
can hear crunching and crunching getting louder and louder.
she reaches her hand out to grab the door handle as the
crunching noise becomes almost mind numbing suddenly the red
eyed monster shows its face and jumps towards her. the
screen goes black.

INT. LIVING ROOM END 10

Dark screen and muffelles screaming gets louder as Mattie

opens her eyes

Mattie opens her eyes to the sound of screaming and

crunching, the sound of which was coming from her Mother
screaming at her Father, she is telling Mattie that every
thing is going to be OK. There is also the sound of her
Drunk Father standing over her with a clenched fist, he is
standing in a puddle the milk that Mattie was holing before
he knocked her out, he is standing in the cheerios which are
crunching under his feet as he staggers around the floor.
