SOME OF THE CHALLENGES & LIVE EXPERIENCES

Every organization has their own set of difficulties. Communication gap is always a
major obstacle. Many of my co-workers are confused their roles and responsibilities,
and there is a technical gap within the faculty and co-workers.

I have also had situations people connecting and misinterpreting processes and
controlling issues. However, I brought it to the notice of my operations lead to
streamlining the work, and we keep direct communication so that there is no
duplication of work and made sure proper and specific information needs to be
communicated to less time.

15
Requesting of work to be done is another complicated task. Asking for the same work
to be done becomes challenging as people take it for granted and do not understand the
role of the person. However, I made sure that was reported to the team lead, and
second, we came up with ideas and deadlines on what days each task can be completed
without over burdening each team member.

There was a disconnect between the faculty members, and therefore, I took the
initiative to connect personally with them and get work done.

Initially, I found it difficult to communicate what information needs to report. I always

took the help of my operations lead, and she guided me. I followed as per her guidance
and maintained transparency in all aspects.

I also took the initiative to help my manager during difficult times and made sure
everything was clear and up to date. I have also given new strategies and ideas to my
operation lead and give feedbacks. Made sure to improve the quality of work with
effective communication and improve existing processes, identified different problems
according to different situations and deliver solutions on time.

I also had problems identifying some of the goals because it was a little confusing. I
took the initiative to learn, understand and analyze the process to increase the student
success and improve student satisfaction and committed to using of resources.

I was given a task to get new online/e-learning for competitive exams so that students
can learn and get acquainted with the technology. In this task, I was required to search
for the right vendor to get in touch, but it took a lot of time to get the right one.
However, before I got the right vendor. I gathered the requirements that are needed for
the learning management and provided ideas, that reduced the time, and I was able to
deliver before the deadline.

16
Self SWOT Analysis:

STRENTH

I have identified my strengths by identifying what makes me more advantageous than

other is my education and technical background, the ability to communicate and write
well.

The ability and the capacity to interpret things and situations. Also, I can identify and
resolve a problem and give new ideas and solutions. My lead has identified certain
values that can be shared with the organization.

WEAKNESS

Some of my weakness that I avoid is handling a certain situation and thinking what my
boss would think if I had discussed or presented an idea. At times, I am poor at
handling stress. Sometimes but not always.
17
I had often impressed my boss on clear communication. I communicate well with
faculty, students, teachers, lead. I have difficulty in managing my manager sometimes,
but I get good advice on appropriate communication from my lead and take it as an
opportunity and sometimes a threat. I am entirely committed on deliverables and
success of the organization.

OPPORTUNITIES

Some of the opportunities are the usage of technology. I am flexible in learning and
grabbing the opportunity to learn new technology. Education field has always been
growing, and therefore, I would take the opportunity of teaching and improving
operational goals of an organization.

I also invest in the opportunity to learn new things and handling processes from my
operations lead and manager. Good advice can be remarkably advantageous. I do take
the opportunity of identifying the organization problems.

Conclusion: By working in a team, I had a chance to make an organization feel better

and given value to the organization. My strengths have out beaten my weakness, and I
believe there is always a room for learning and delivering the best.

18
Study of selected problem, Methodology, and Research

Problems and changes made in educational programs

A problem is something that lies in all fields. For example Educational, government,
educational institutions, businesses, profit, and non-profit organization. The reason
behind the problem is the mission or goals are not met and understood.

There might partially have met and may not be met due to several reasons or other
factors. In other words, it is clearly understood there is a gap between existing and
future learning process. Problems are based on individual situations, cases and involve
people and resources. Problems can be simple and complex as well. It is crucial to
identify and analyze the problem.

There can be additional problems but can be misinterpreted or ignored. One problem
can lead to another problem.

METHODOLOGY AND RESEARCH

A study was conducted among teachers. We had asked teachers to identify the student’s
strength and weaknesses through observations. Asked teachers if they did something
different in class. For the study teachers had taught students and explain the subjects in
detail. However, students were left for self-study and asked to require tests.

However, students who performed well always did. On the other hand, students who
were average or below average did not focus much on self- study. Therefore, we have
recommended alternative ways of preparing the student for the exam by giving them
study materials which will make it easy and streamline the content given in the exam.

19
Another problem that was observed is engaging students during pre-lessons and
connecting your students. Teachers just teach and go away but not ensuring to engage
the students in class and engaging them, making it fun for students to understand. It is
very important for teachers to give details of concepts, facts, and answer as much as
they can.

We wanted careful observers and learners that can note down the problems of practice
that improve the goals. We also invested in feedbacks to what students need and
filtered them to specifics.

We used a SWOT analysis tool to identify the strengths and weaknesses for
effectiveness and other procedures. This was done for better organizational and self-
planning, quality checks, improvement of processes and impacts that could positively
affect the establishment.

I take the opportunity to create events, educational classes and other meetings in the
absence of my colleagues. I have conducted the below SWOT analysis for my
organization as well to give value to the organization.

1. Initially, we conducted team brain storming what is needed. Identified strengths

and weakness

2. Identified the opportunities and threats

3. Shared the mission and goal of the organization and collected information

4. Sorted out tasks and existing issues

Strengths

1. Currently, the goal is to provide quality education and programs for students and
also make a number one institute for competitive exams.

2. Involve highly-skilled teachers for particular subjects to increase quality education

for students.

3. Involve parents to show the student’s performance.

4. Improvement of exam operations to conduct regular tests.

20
5. Involve operational teams for better management and faster work processes.

6. Insist on resource improvement such as exams, tutoring, courses, online learning

management.

7. Positive learning environment

8. Success center

9. Improving marketing strategies

10. Improving teaching strategies

11. Online learning

Weaknesses

1. College offerings

2. Access to counseling

3. Career-specific advising

Opportunities:

1. Access to online education

2. Competency-based education

3. Interactive learning experience

Threats

1. Under preparation for exams and colleges

2. Competition in education and exams

3. Looking for value-based education

4. Parents expectations

To ensure the strategic planning worked and best practices were implemented specific
guidelines were followed and milestones were set as per need, and also regular quality
checks were done to gauge the process.

21
Internal and external inputs are given by the team, and also external input was given by
students and parents. Effective communication was the crucial part and made sure the
best information was available at all levels.

Continuous planning is done through the weekly, monthly and annual process. Besides,
continuous monitoring is done at all levels. Finally, a set of expectations are required
by all external and internal teams. Evaluation of all teams and reporting is required.

External and internal inputs: We gathered all the responses from internal teams,
parents, students, and faculty to address some of the issues and bring solutions for
better outcomes for both organization and students.

Identified focused groups such as teaching, student, operational, technical teams to

deepen the understanding of academic excellence and student performance,
perceptions, needs, and other classroom, teaching experiences for teachers and students.
Operational teams were involved in handling many inventories, handling exams,
technical issues on e-learning teaching management.

CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE ORGANISATION:

Provided framework for monitoring of exams and assisting other faculty members

Published weekly marks and conducted analysis. I Served as a guide to several

problems. Involved in responding to several external factors that improve academic
excellence and the environment. I also used other skills and language to communicate
with the process.

Some of the threats faced in the organization were over-working hours, colleagues
being competitive to involve in operations and technology usage.

My job demands a lot more things than it is now and it demands as per the situation. I
have internal pressure to get things done. Changing technology may not threaten my
position, but have to be available more.

22
RESULTS OF MY STUDY:

We also received the feedbacks that students wanted to experience real-time scenarios
of the exam, and that is how we were able to improve specific exam handling
strategies. We also identified the pattern of examination and weight of the topics by
gathering the syllabus that would help the teacher and student to better focus.

Also, we also had asked teachers to work on other learning strategies by giving extra
practice worksheets and workbooks. Further, we partnered with parents on student
performances and marks so parents can also be deliberate observers.

23
CONCLUSION

In the process of making this INTERNSHIP PROJECT , I have done a lot of research
which has helped me improve my Communication Skills and etiquette skills
immensely. The activities and learning in performing this project made me realize my
position in Interpersonal Skills and helped me rectify my mistakes

The positive outcome of this subject is that, it prepared me for the outside competitive
world and made me confident in my own way. I can now speak fluently and effectively
and can also comprehend various ways of potrating myself with several etiquette skills
in an organisation which I realize, is going to be definitely useful in my near future.

I thereby conclude this INTERNSHIP PROJECT Note by showing my utmost

gratitude to my project guide and Faculty, MR.NAVEEN for helping me out in the
successful completion of this record.
