GILI TRAWANGAN

Gili Trawangan is one of the famous and wonderful destination in Lombok, West Nusa
Tenggara. Gili Trawangan has not only a stanning beach and served a great nature , it also serve
an amazing nightlife. We can enjoy fun activites not only from early morning but also ‘till
afternoon. In the morning until afternoon, we can spend our time in the beach at night we can
enjoy the party in the bar next to the beach.
Lombok island is a small island in Indonesia but its surrounded by other smaller islands
called as Gili. But Gili Tawangan is a favorite one. There are other Gili, which are Gili Meno
and Gili Air. Most of the visitors that came to Gili are from another country. So, there are many
treatments and attractions that able for international tourist needs. This island is small, its just as
three kilometer starts from north to south and only two kilometer from east to west. Then if we
want to ride a bike it only takes one hour to explore all places of the island. If we don’t have a
bike we can rent cidomo, the traditional carriage in Lombok island.
The southeast side of Gili Trawangan is having an amazing beach with a gorgeous view
and a soft sand. On the other side of the island, which is the west side, it is provides a tranquil
that really comfortable to do yoga or even just reaxing our mind and body. Most of the visitors
said that west side is very peaceful.
We can do various activities in the beaches there, and if we’d like to travel and explore
Gili Island, its recommended to rent a bicycle. There are a lot of café we can visit at night. There
are also usually a beach party that we shouldn’t miss it. Gili Trwangan scheduled all events so
we won’t miss all the amazing events.
There are several ways to reach Lombok to Gili Trawangan like using a boat from the
bangsal port that’s located about 42 km from Mataram, Lombok. The port can be reached one
hour from Mataram. If you use a car or motorcycle, you have to leave them in the port. If we’re
gonna staying at the five star hotel in Gili Trawangan, its usually serving a speedboat to take you
from Lombok to Gili Trawangan.
