Abstract

With the steel industry at its peak in today’s society, it is not unusual to see structures break out of

the usual concrete skeletal system to pave way for the new modernized steel assembly of building

construction. With this as truth, this project intends to plan and design a three-storey hotel

building, with its structure particularly made of steel, aimed to be constructed on a corner of Katada

street and Flores avenue , a lot categorized under the commercial zone of the city. The project

covers the architectural and structural designs of said building, including its analysis and the steel

sections chosen by the proponents.
