In Language Arts we are learning about plots in 10/10-PTO Meeting @ 10am-
stories. Students have practiced applying plot Lewes Library elements by using Pixar quick films. They have really 10/10-Conferences-4-7pm enjoyed watching them! Most recently, they learned about figurative language and suffixes/prefixes. In 10/11-NO SCHOOL-Conferences writing, students are applying what they have 8-11am learned to their first narrative writing piece. I can’t 10/17-Picture Day wait to read them! 10/24-School Board Meeting @ 6pm-LCE In Science, we are studying the distance and size of stars. 10/25-Trunk or Treat @ 6-Rain or Shine
In Social Studies, we are wrapping up our unit on
analyzing the opposing sides on The Stamp Act. Students will be writing a newspaper article from the British perspective on the repeal of the Stamp Act.
