SUNDAYS IN THE GARDEN SEEKING AUDIO ENGINEER

The Sundays in the Garden concert series is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the
job of part-time Audio Engineer for our upcoming November 10th concert.

About the Concert Series:

Sundays in the Garden is possible thanks to the collaboration between Tohono Chul
Park and Tucson Guitar Society. In its fifth consecutive year, the series has grown year
by year, always aiming to feature local Tucson artists, students, and friends of the park.
Our concerts take place every Sunday at 1:30 pm during the months of October and
November in the fall, and March and April in the spring. Each concert takes place at
Tohono Chul’s outdoor performance garden, welcoming an audience of 250 people
each weekend. The concerts are free with cost of admission to the park. An outdoor bar
is ready to serve patrons at all of our events.

Job Description:

Responsibilities include setting-up the sound equipment and microphones before the
arrival of the performers, managing the sound-check to get appropriate levels, mixing a
live show, and tearing-down of equipment for storage upon the completion of the show.

The time commitment is November 10th, 11:30 am to 4 pm.

Qualifications:

• Must have experience mixing live sound. Preference will be given to experience with
mixing live musical performances.
• Able to be a collaborative team player that works well with others in a fast paced
environment.
• Have excellent costumer service skills.
• Familiarity working in outdoor spaces.
• Be punctual.

This is an hourly-based position with the possibility of re-hiring for Spring events.
