ZIGBEE

Description:
Zigbee is an IEEE 802.15.4-based specification for a suite of high-level
communication protocols used to create personal area networks with small,
low-power digital radios, such as for home automation, medical device data
collection, and other low-power low-bandwidth needs, designed for small scale
projects which need wireless connection. Hence, Zigbee is a low-power, low
data rate, and close proximity (i.e., personal area) wireless ad hoc network.

Mission:
ZIGBEE mainly promotes for the students of Computer Science Engineering in
specialization with Internet of Things. The mission of ZIGBEE is to strongly
promote the involvement of like-minded students to explore beyond their
academic excellence, highlighting their special interests. ZIGBEE provides
opportunities for students to present their ideas, skill set and improve their
knowledge under the club.

Student Outcome:

Membership:
Membership will be open for all the students of School of Computer Science
Engineering, Jain(Deemed-To-Be University).

Participation is open for all the students of School of Engineering and
Technology, Jain(Deemed-To-Be University).

Requirements:
 Workspace with internet facility.
 VGA cable and converter

Permission:
 T-shirts with ZIGBEE logo and name.
 Badges with ZIGBEE logo and name.

Role of the Officers:


President: The President is responsible for providing strategic leadership for
the club by working with the Members to establish long-range goals,
strategies, plans and policies. President, will be planning, organizing, and
carrying out responsibilities associated with his role as the club's chief
Executive Officer. Most members will help him succeed if the tasks and
expectations are clearly defined, reasonable, and the members share
appropriate interest and skill.

Vice President: The Vice president’s duty is to assist the President and
other club officers in completing their duties. It is also the vice president's job
to effectively contribute to the club's operations.
Joint Secretary: The Joint Secretary carries out or delegates all the
administrative duties that enable the club and its members to function
effectively. The Joint Secretary has an essential role within the club, with a
close involvement in the general running of the club.
Treasurer: The Treasurer is responsible for all the club's finance, both
incoming and outgoing, and needs to keep accurate records to ensure legal
compliance.
Members: The Members of the club manages all the club activities and carries
out all the tasks given to them by the higher authorities.

experience .

world cases.
