Trail Bay
 A trail bay of 30mx10.6m to be constructed at location as approved by
PMG in presence of GE.

 The material Sampling and testing will be done as per CA mention at site
lab.

 OMC : 6.6 % & MDD- 2.375 (gm/cc) as per approved design.

 Job Mix Formula: After approval of the Job Mix Formula will be
designed from Govt. Institute & submitted for approval of the Engineer.

 The WMM will be prepared in a mixing by plant of adequate capacity,

having arrangement for controlled addition of water and aggregate.
 The material produced from mixing plant is again tested to ensure that
the mixed materials conform to specification and approved JOB MIX
FORMULA. The mixed materials shall be uniform no segregation shall
be allowed. Approved mixed WMM is brought to site and spread with
the help of sensor paver finisher in a thickness of 200 mm (compacted)
in two layers each 100 mm thick. Then the material is compacted by
means of a vibratory compactor. Normally 5 to 7 passes are required to
achieve desired compaction. After final compaction spot levels are taken
to check the thickness of layer & cross slope and profile and record. After
ensuring the required tolerance of the levels density is checked.

 In case density achieved after final compaction is less than 98% of MDD
the layer is re compacted to achieve the required density.

 Level shall be taken on finished surfaces.
