Bullying: Imbalance of power

Bullies use their power such as physical strength, access to embarrassing information, or
popularity to control of harm others. Power imbalances can change over time and in
different situations, even if they involve at the same people.
Bullying is defined as unwanted, aggressive conduct among school-aged children that
involves a real perceived power imbalances, threat or injury. Bullying is also defined as
aggressive behavior toward peers. Children were victims of bullying often suffer from
repeated trauma and it may affect their future, in the academe or in their social articles, or
could lead to death by suicide. Here are some kinds of bullying, verbal bullying is saying or
writing mean things it includes teasing name calling, Inappropriate sexual comments,
threatening to cause harm. Social bullying referred to as relational bullying, involves hurting
someone’s reputation. It includes spreading rumors about someone, embarrassing someone
in public. Physical bullying involves hurting a person’s body or possessions. It includes
hitting, kicking, pinching, trapping/pushing, making mean or rude body gestures. It is a
serious issue in our society that needs to be addressed immediately.
Bullying is a big problem in many teen’s worlds today. It is one of the many ways in which
teens are being bullied and it is causing problems for many teens and even their families and
loved ones, some of them have killed each other and committed suicide after being involved
in bullying incident. It may even be a bigger problem that we know. Bullying is no little
problem that we can take light and act like it doesn’t happen. It may be the most popular way
of hurting others within the next few years, if not already and it may already be the most
serious based on the fact that here have been many deaths already associated with it.
